Less is more

But too little or too much and you'll know about it :))

Experiment a little, you'll get the feel for what's right and what's wrong :)

If your pulling the cotton through and it's bunching up, then that's too much

You should be able to pull it back and forth with very little friction

Or you could just use mesh instead  :)+1

Agree with what Dan said - Apart from the bit about mesh of course :)

Also make sure that air can flow around the whole coil. Don't tuck any cotton underneath it as it kills the air flow. But be prepared to redrip after every toot!

How would you use mesh in an RDA?  Bend it down to the deck to absorb juice?  Even on a vertical RDA, with juice wells (basically a genny with no deck), that doesn't seem quite... kosher...
Hey Todd, how's it goin'?

Make a 'slug' build. First one I found:

I made the mistake of thinking more is best but soon came to the conclusion less is best.
Never used mesh in a dripper & donít think I ever will but you never know I could be missing out on something good but I don't think so  ;) .

less... tucking under blocks airflow from completely surrounding the coil.

I cant believe after all this time, your still obsessed with making your clouds bigger.

Certainly have lots of juice reservoir with all that cotton... but from what I can see, it looks like you've kept the coil pretty clear.   Is the coil also clear from underneath and up the side on the side we can't see?  I mean, the coil we CAN see, but on its far side?  And the same for the other coil?  If so, can't do much better than that, AFAIK.  Line 'em up with your (big) air-holes and vape away!

And if it's still not enough, try ribbon.  Not that I'm willing to GUARANTEE that will be better or anything.  Seems like it would be.  It's so hard to work with that I haven't used it much lately.  Plus the normal dual-sub-ohm-micro-coils are working so well that I haven't felt the need.

The only outlier is my much-afore-mentioned AGA T3, single-coil, 1.5 Ohm, ribbon-and-cotton genny.  Blows clouds on my VAMO at 7 watts (tends to burn too often at 9) BUT - not much throat-hit (with 9  mg/ml juice) and only "acceptable" amounts of flavor.  Clouds, though.   w:)w
