Picked up a Vuse Alto out of curiosity today... 99 cents for the battery....15$ for a pack of carts (only two inside WTF) Each one is 1.8ml

Got the Rich Tobacco which is somewhat like a weaker NET style tobacco... little bit of a ashtray cigar tinge... Might be into it more if I just got off of the smokes. The PODS are mostly are 5.0% nic... or 50mg .... managed to get the last 2.4% nic (24mg) they had. Kinda surprised the nic content is so high on these.

The throat hit isn't very strong... a little odd for that high nic content. Vapor production is somewhat weak... it's not a cloud chaser, and more in line with what was on the market 10 years ago. Seems reminiscent of my 4081 Super Mini I started with.

Gonna vape it for a little bit tonight.. most likely will dump it and refill the cart with my usual mix. As I found online you can refill the carts without too much effort.

The device itself is slim and feather light.. pod just slides in and held in place with a magnet... usb charger works the same way on the other end. You can vape it while it charges in Pass Thru mode. The battery is only 350mah ... the sale price of 99 cents is cheap enough to buy a bunch.

As I'm writing this here.. the flavor has become a bit too much for me... gaggin a little.. feelin like a smoker.. bleh  :-X  LOL the stock flavor didn't last long at all ... dumped it after 30 minutes. Not a big fan of NET style vapes.

Pried off the metal cap from the cart by rocking motion with pliers... pulled the coil base out and silicone gasket.. dumped the liquid... washed out with water and filled my with my usual flavor. Much better now. My blend is 50/50 pg/vg at 10mg ... surprisingly I have better throat hit with it.  8)

The carts don't appear to be leaky even after fiddling with it and refilling. The way they did the cart and the suck sensor seems to be better then what was around 10 years ago on the cigalikes.

Caz you would probably like this one if you can manage the refill process.

It's been some time since I tried a over the counter general public style vape... If I wasn't able to refill the cart it would definitely be  two thumbs down :)-1 :)-1 ...I did check if that refill was possible before I got one...with my own flavor it's not bad and a discrete vape.

Bought an Aurora Play on a whim, spotted the bronze one on the shelf in the local vape shop & had to have it.
Itís better than expected & handy for a night out when I don't want a large mod in my pocket, was a little worried the little thing wouldn't last a night out on a charge but lasts an age.
Now the stupid me part - once I figured out that its vacuum activated (don't press the button to vape ) it has good flavour and lasts longer than expected, yes I did the man thing & didn't look at the manual but even if I had it doesn't say itís  a vacuum switch to activate.
Over all I like it and it fits in a waistcoat pocket for those occasions when I have to get dressed up.

Looks cool Cy.  :)+1

So as it turns out with the Vuse Alto... can only get two refills in the pod.... then the coil is pretty much shot.. liquid don't taste to good after that.

Think you have the better approach there Cy.

seen it for £22 on one site,  like the multi coloured one,   if its not the throat hit i like  it would be a waste of time though.

I have been using the Vaporesso Swag for a year or so now.. great little device.. they make good stuff.

I like they way your pod setup is kinda like a Zippo.
