We have many XvoSticks at the assembling now, and we are going to ship them by small batches as soon as they are ready.

We understand that the waiting time is long and we can make a refund if you are tired of waiting. On the other hand you have already waited so long and there is the last step left. So if you wait a little more you will get really cool mod which has no analogues. The waiting is really worth it.

They have arrived. Thanks. Very nice gear. As I expected, I had to turn down a protruding ring on my Aspire Nautilus to fit into the chamber, but all is well:



The only oddities are: a 1.5 mm Allen wrench is included which does not fit anything I can find. There is no instruction manual. Perhaps there is one online somewhere?

Unfortunatelly we don't have any instructions.
You can regulate the height of atty hole by unscrewing the disc in atty hole using this allen key.

Well, it does the usual turn on/turn off (or at least it locks the buttons) with five quick pushes on the fire button.

One thing I noticed is that there is no indication about the battery orientation. Fortunately the XvoStick (actually the DNA 40 board) has some kind of reverse polarity protection, since I tried it the wrong way first. (The correct orientation is positive-down - put the plus end of the battery into the cavity first.)

A bit of searching found this file on the EVOLVapor site:

It explains the operation of the DNA40 board. Perhaps a URL could be enclosed with the mod.

Because every mod using the DNA40 is different, the data sheet doesn't say which way to  insert the battery. That information should either be in the box with the mod or engraved on the mod somewhere.

Yes, atty hole is 23.5mm, the same as in the XvoStick.

Can you do something that takes duel 18650's

I don't carry spare batteries and I would like something that will last a 16 hour work shift

Pretty cool looking mods Chels .. very different from the normal generic shapes flooding the market.. what material are they made out of and what finishes will be available if made of metal?

I really like the design, especially the firing button on the ledge near the top. That appears to be just the right place for using the thumb for firing.

But I would not consider any of the designs so far to be sticks. To me, they are all box mods.

We had such a variant as well and even made 3D model. It looks not so pretty really. The mod is very thick and feels uncomfortable in hand.

The sticks are made of aluminium and have anodized coat as other our mods.

The atty is screwed at the depth of 35mm. We are going to post more photos when the prototype is ready and will show you how it looks like with the atty.
