Metal mesh wick in a Kayfun Prime Clone or what else?

Can I use a metal mesh type wick in a Kayfun Prime clone? If so what should I choose? I'm looking for a better alternative to the handmade coils and Japanese cotton wicks that I've used for years. I only have a 40 watt max mod and would like to stay under 25 watts. Or is there another alternative?

Try searching this group. There are 22 pages of posts and you might get lucky and find something useful.

I don't do any of the fancy stuff. I just want the nicotine, no concern about taste or vapor volume. I still use the pre-manufactured KangerTech coils in 1.5 or 1.8 ohm, depending on what is available.
