The Sony's are quality but for the amps you Vape Rik, you could go for the brown LG's....

Purple efest are a top battery. Most of the 'newer' names are just rewards.

For very trusted stats on tons of brands, check out a guy called 'Battery Mooch'. He has a chart that he constantly updates with new results. He is highly respected in the vaping industry, especially amongst the sub-ohm crowd. He doesn't work in the vaping industry, so has no affiliations to any brands. I trust his findings completely and always refer to his chart for battery stats.

They carry the top three from that list and more, at very nice prices.

For our US members(and browsers), I hear a lot of reviewers recommend www.imrbatteries.com.

Thanks Ian, think the local  vape shop has the purple Efest so may take them up on one to test them out.
Can vouch for the brown 18650 LGs I have a few.

They just opened a new vape shop in my town this week... never heard of any of the brands of batteries they carried. Ended up getting one AWT IMR 18650 3000mah battery.

No clue if it is good or not.. does have a scratch and check code etc

My preference has been the efest and sony VTC batteries.

Yeah, there are a ton of batteries out there. Some just re-wraps of the bigger brands and some re-wraps with ridiculously over rated specs. Imo , stick with the big names(Sony, LG, Samsung, Efest) from a trusted supplier. The big suppliers usually test the batteries they sell. Vape shops can unknowingly sell fakes. Sony's have been a victim of this. Battery Mooch is usually in the comments of the 'big' reviewers videos and will answer any questions you have. Fakes are not so much a concern(amp wise) for lower wattage vapers. Anything rated over 3000mah and/or 25A,  I would be weary of.
*I am by no means an expert in batteries. I'm just passing on info I have seen/read from reviewers/vapers that I trust.

Finding a good vendor is the real key to getting legit batteries.  I exclusively buy from Liion Wholesale Batteries.  http://liionwholesale.com/  I've got about a dozen over the last 2-3 years, only had one battery go bad in all of that time.  They always include battery cases for safety.  Prices are very reasonable too.
