LG Brown’s now have vapeing warning
« on: February 01, 2017, 10:22:48 AM »
 In the vape shop this morning when they unpacked the new stock and the owner was horrified to see a warning printed on every brown LG 3000 mAh battery stating not suitable  for use with vaping products, or words to that effect.
 The way of the world now, get your disclaimer in before someone sues you :{

I can understand where they are coming from with doing it.

Inexperienced users being forced into the sub ohm cloud chasing realm I'm sure hasn't helped any.  :{

Would these be safe for us low Wattage vapers, not demanding so much from the battery all of the time?

Certainly.

They would be safe even in a sub-ohm build as long as the person knows what they are doing.

I have and use one brown LG Rik. Works just as good as any of the others I have. VTC5, VTC4, MXJO... they all have about the same run time and performance in the old school vaping realm.

You're fine .. it is just the company protecting itself from frivolous lawsuits. I'm sure they sell way more of these batteries in laptops and other electronics without a problem.

I don't lose any sleep over it.. wouldn't be surprised if all of them start printing that on there batteries.

Actually I'd like to see them just print more info on the damn battery in the first place.  I've got a couple with what looks like old file labels, luckily they work as advertised, but they could just be inflated Ray-O-Vac's.
