Bought one today, my local vape shop had some in.
Nice and small for a dual battery mod especially as it can be used regulated, makes my iStik 100 look like a monster in comparison.
No gaps with any atty on the one I have, looks & works great with the Kayfun 5.
Happy bunny, its ages since I treated myself to a new mod.

Re-built a Kanger deck at my usual 1.8 Ω for the 24mm Serpent Sub & that got rid of the lip around the atty, think that's what will stay on the Cricket.
The lip with a 22mm atty doesn't look bad because the black insert with the Wismec logo has a steel edge round it that continues round the atty but a 24mm is perfect.
Using it in regulated series mode & loving it  :)+1
You made me spend again Caz but I forgive you this time  ;)

Awesome,  glad i could be of some help  x:)x

There have been quite a few reviews lately,  only been picking a few to post,   most of them have been rbta, rda atties,  there must be literally at least a thousand different tanks on the market  w:)w   thought things would slow down.

Ha, it's fun to have someone to blame isn't it Cy!!  . It's all Caz fault!!!

I confess, I have not been watching the reviews you've been posting cause they all look t he same!  But after reading Cy comments on the Cricket and its size, perhaps I should be watching, as I like the isticks!  My 3 isticks are all I have left now!  My two starter kits have both now bit the dust!

Hard for me to choose as I don't know zilch about temp control!

OK, thanks for the heads up on Todd review, I'll check it out!
Think I'll shop for morel isticks, see if I can get a deal!  I have a 20 and two 40's!  Think the 40's would suit just fine!

Just used my last bottle of Cappachino from LiQuid!  Wonder if Dean still shipping here?

Just sent Dean a message and I copied you on it Caz!  Hope they will still ship here, however I have my doubts with all the TPD changes!  We'll see what his response will be!  Fingers crossed eh!!

Is the apple flavour still offered on his site?  Gonna visit his site again today and check things out!

it shows on my message that you sent it to him also,  better send it just to him and post on his thread maybe?

Apple is still on site,  but not sure what their position is with the TPD is and what flavours they have registered,  think the cut off date is may 20th and then everything sold has to be registered and allowed.

I saw a review of the cricket II-25 that said that setting 100 means 2volts and setting 0 means 6volts, but on mine when I set it to 0 it's far more mild than at higher numbers.  Anyone else experience the same?

 Hi Theclaw
Welcome to the Den.
I have a Cricket v2 & have no idea of the upper or lower voltage but I do know that with my 1.8Ω builds the lowest setting is perfect, it feels more like 4v than 2v.
I have never and probably will never try the highest setting especial with my builds.
A lot could depend on the atty, coil and wick material you are using.
What do you think of the Cricket overall ?

I'm not crazy about it so far.  It seems to get my atomizer really hot very quickly and it prevents me from taking decent Vapes due to the high heat.  I wonder if I need to get a heat sink.

Do you have it set to Series mode with the orange light showing?
If you have you should be able to set a power that gives you the vape you are looking for.
What resistance is the coil you are using? Lower resistance uses more power creating more heat, a heat sink doesn't stop a hot vape.

Anything above the lowest setting on series mode is super hot and cloud production is terrible.  Maybe the issue is that I just need to use regulated mods that let me preheat and then drop wattage.

Strange, the low setting with my 1.8Ω coil is perfect, I also hate a hot vape.
No offence intended but you do have the orange light not the white one showing when you press the fire button don't you ? In that mode it is regulated its only you don't have a display to shoe your settings like on most mods these days.
What resistance is your coil as that has a lot to do with the heat, I would suggest a higher Ω Ė resistance coil, you don't have to go sub to get a good vape but is seems that's the way the industry is taking things these days.
Are you new to vaping or is the Cricket your new toy,?
It isn't very often that I even contemplate buying two of the same mods but I would get another Noisy Cricket v2, I honestly canít fault it, small for a twin 18650 mod & the battery life is astounding compared any of my other multi battery mods.
I am used to mechanical mods so the lack of a display doesn't bother me but I do like the way the light flashes to let you know its time to charge things up again.

Red light.  And it's definitely regulated since it goes way higher than the lowest setting, but the lowest setting is still pretty darned high.
