Interesting recipe. But between the brown sugar (which I've had), and pralines & cream (ditto) I just can't imagine adding even more sweetener... the pralines & cream especially was incredibly sweet by itself.
Then again, real pecan pie is pretty much nothing but sugar, corn syrup, and butter, with some pecans on top.
edit: oh man, I'm SO jonesing for a Bama pie right now. Can't get em here though.
