Are the post screws tightened down properly ?
Is the meter you are using to test the resistance accurate ?

Either your post screws are loose or the atomizer itself isn't making good contact.  Is the atomizer going all the way down? If so, raise the MVP firing pin (if possible) until it's not quite.  If the pin is spring-loaded or "floating", then ignore that.  I'm just not familiar with MVPs.
Hey Todd, how's it goin'?

Yes it will, but do yourself a favor and start with a single coil and get that down first. I like 24 or 26 gauge kanthal myself its a bit stiffer and easier to work with. Sounds like you need an ohm reader as well and if you don't already know make sure you get the right battery if you plan on sub ohming.

Dont know anything about sub omhing but the mvp2 has an ohm reader built in. Was just more a curiosity for now.
