I have been out for a while also. I had a seizure on Monday and lost my memory for 2 days. doctors cant figure out why it happened. did every test and came up clean. I have a patriot dripper with dual tin man coils at .6 ohms that puts out a lot of vapor. I will have to do a video on this soon.

I went to youtube.com and watched all the coil building videos by rip tripper. he is a bit crazy but very informative on his coil building videos. a tin man coil is flat ribbon wire wrapped just like a micro coil. I used .8mm x .1mm ribbon wire at 8 wraps each around a 5/64 drill bit. it is a bit tricky to build and get to glow properly but the taste and vapor is excellent. I did a single first but not enough vapor so I built another one. I like it better than my triple parallel coils. I like to build things and tinker with almost anything. I am a master automotive technician. I can build and fix just about anything

Actually, I believe the wraps of a "tin man coil" overlap a little, thus end up looking kind of funky as opposed to the neat, clean look of round-wire microcoils.  I need to make more ribbon coils... Freakin' stuff is hard to work with though.  And if you aren't careful, it'll change shape when it gets hot.  I *think* the trick is to torch it before winding, and then glow it after installation VERY slowly, without going all red hot on the first try.
Hey Todd, how's it goin'?

you do have to torch it while holding it tight on the drill bit. and yes, the drill bit gets very hot. I held it with pliers and pulled the coil tight with another pair of pliers while my son used the torch on it. I screwed up a few before I got it right. if you glow them too hard they will bow in the middle and it is hard to straighten them again. practice makes perfect. well at least workable.
