I haven't got one of those tanks myself but I have heard of it. That tank is known as The Beast because of the power it requires and the vapor it produces. It is a direct lung hitting tank which tend to run lower ohm coils and require a lot of wattage to run those coils, which results in a hotter vape. Did you get the RBA section with that tank??

so just to confirm,  you get a hot vape even on low wattage?   like if you have it around 10 watts?   20 watts?

Have you tried a different coil/head,   trying to do process of elimination.

I'm afraid there's not much you can do about this tank. It is designed for high power, very warm to hot vapers. You could try building the rba with a higher ohm coil. Was this tank recommended to you or did you get it on a whim??

Sorry, I was aiming my last post at the original poster. To be honest, I can't think of an RTA off the top of my head that can be vaped much higher the 70 watts. I've never built that tank, it never really appealed to me but I reckon it won't go much higher on a diy coil. Your obviously an experienced builder, so it must be a wicking issue. It could be that the wicking channels don't allow it to keep up with wattage any higher than your using.

Hi pal..im very new to the smok beast ive been building my own coils the last year..there is a few tank u can easily go past 70 watts bud i usually start of around 50 watts on my billow v3 plus or aromamizer depends on the wire u build with but say 8 wrap clapton even if its reading high 0.5 its still probably going to need around 60 watts just to heat it up..maybe i am just out of touch with sub coils these days lol

I'm not minding rebuildables so much as sub-ohming.

i have the baby beast tank on my alien mod and have found the flavour to be good for a tank.  60-80 watts.  its is a warm vape but with desert flavours it suits me.  I mean who wants cool apple pie or cool custard? lol  I don use this tank for fruit flavours.
